Medical brigade in Balao: 300 families served
Day in Balao
On Friday, March 20, 2026, we arrived in Balao with hope and health! In the south of our beloved Guayas, the brigades of Fundación LIRES were activated to support those who need it most.
After the heavy flooding that affected the canton, we joined the team of councilman Lcdo. Edder Villón Vélez in the area of Barrio Nuevo to provide a day full of solidarity.
Thanks to the efforts of Ab. Vanessa Motoche Ramírez, we turned a difficult moment into well-being for children, older adults and people with disabilities.
Services provided
We offered with love:
- General Medicine and Dentistry
- Optometry
- Free distribution of medicine and vitamin supplementation
- Physical Therapy
- Manicure and Pedicure
- Fun for the little ones! Recreational activities and magic springs
All of this is possible by the grace of God and the hearts of our volunteers, who put their gifts and resources at the service of others. We keep working for the community!
