An organization that transforms realities
The Fundación Líderes con Responsabilidad Social del Ecuador — LIRES is a private-law, non-profit legal entity, legally registered with the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES) under Ministerial Resolution No. 0061.
For more than 15 years we have carried out educational and social leadership processes in municipal and parish decentralized autonomous governments, with strategic alliances with public and private entities.
Our approach centers on economic and social inclusion, with an emphasis on priority-attention groups and people living in poverty and vulnerability, promoting development and care throughout the entire life cycle.

Mission
To promote the human rights of all people, especially children, youth, older adults and women who are victims of gender-based violence, to enjoy a dignified and full life with equal opportunities, starting from education and the comprehensive development of individual and collective capacities as a means to transform society.
Vision
A responsible organization committed to social justice and comprehensive human development, with an identity of its own marked by the defense of the rights of priority-attention groups, by the trust of the people, and by genuine recognition for the impact of our actions.
An active and participatory social organization operating at the local, national and international levels, made up of qualified people who identify with the institutional mission and values, able to adapt to change and open to coordinating efforts with other organizations.

Background that drives us
Convention on the Rights of the Child
The UN adopts the Convention on the Rights of the Child, establishing the international framework for the comprehensive protection of girls, boys and adolescents.
Ecuador, a pioneer in Latin America
Ecuador becomes the first country in Latin America and the third in the world to ratify the Convention, taking on the commitment to ensure that children's rights are fully in force.
Code for Children and Adolescents
The approval of the Code opened the door to profound transformations in Ecuador's institutional practices and public policies.
Fundación LIRES is born
Fundación Líderes con Responsabilidad Social del Ecuador was born in Pedro Carbo canton as a social and spiritual initiative. Originally established as a de facto (unincorporated) organization, its mission is to promote human rights, foster social inclusion and empower leaders to transform their communities. On August 4, 2021, it reached a key milestone by obtaining legal personality, formally establishing itself as a foundation.
15+ years of continuous impact
We drive collective solutions through medical and dental brigades, training workshops and humanitarian aid. Guided by the values of solidarity and responsibility, we empower citizens and transform the lives of thousands of Ecuadorian families.
Our Social Action
We coordinate actions with the Ministry of Public Health (MSP) and other organizations in Guayas province and the rest of the country, linking local lines of action for greater social inclusion.
Medical Brigades
Delivery of vitamins and deworming medication, and direct medical care in vulnerable communities.
Dental Brigades
Informational talks on family health and safe water, and preventive dental care.
Training Workshops
Chronic child malnutrition, nutrition, human rights, the protection system and project development.
Humanitarian Aid
Provision of school kits, hygiene kits and food kits for families in critical situations.

To reduce the social and psychological risk factors that affect vulnerable groups, with the restoration of rights as the determining factor that allows them to achieve quality of life within and beyond their localities.
