Medical brigade in Marcelino Maridueña
Brigade in Marcelino Maridueña
On Saturday, July 5, 2025, part of the team of Fundación Líderes con Responsabilidad Social del Ecuador traveled to the Jesús del Gran Poder recinto, located in the canton of Marcelino Maridueña where we carried out a medical brigade. We held this event in coordination with our friend Stalin Ramos and part of his citizen collective team, who gave us every facility to carry out this charity brigade. We greatly appreciate the collaboration of each doctor and professional volunteer leader of the foundation LIRES who collaborate in the foundation's different activities with their gifts, talents, resources and vehicles.
Services provided
The medical brigades of LIRES aim to provide assistance to priority care groups, with an emphasis on children, adolescents, older adults and people with disabilities.
Free ultrasounds were performed thanks to the collaboration of Dr. Mayra Cordero, and free medicine was also provided.
This event offered the following services:
- general medicine
- manicure and pedicure
- dentistry
- mole removal
- optometry
- vitamin supplementation
- physical therapy, where physical therapist Jorge Cuenca helped several people recover their ability to walk
Allies and donors
We feel honored by our donors, Dr. Anabel Seijas and Dr. Patricia Figueroa a million blessings for the gift of gynecological medicine. Thank you to the volunteers who, for various reasons, were unable to be with us at this event. Thank you to private companies such as ROCNARF and DIFARE, for the donation of medicines. Thank you, Fundación ASENIR and Mefi-boset who in this brigade helped us with medicine donated by laboratories KRONOS. Thank you to our friend Assemblywoman Lorena Rosado who accompanied us at this event and surprised us with a beautiful gesture for the birthday celebrations of our pastors and leaders Fabián Correa (July 30) and Jorge Carpio (July 3). All of you are the engine that allows our team of doctors and volunteers to visit different cantons and parishes of the province of Guayas every week.
Satisfy us each morning with your unfailing love, that we may sing for joy to the end of our lives. Give us joy in proportion to our former suffering! Make up for the bad years with good. Let us, your servants, see you work again, and let our children see your glory.
