Medical brigade in Nobol benefits Barrio Lindo
Nobol stole our hearts! On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, the brigade of Fundación LIRES arrived in the heart of Guayas to turn health into hope.
Thanks to the invitation of Mgtr. María Belén Candado, mayor of the canton of Nobol, her work team, and the collaboration of Dr. José Andrade, Dr. Iván Torres and Dr. Robert Veliz, who joined our incredible team of doctors, we joined efforts to carry out this day of solidarity in the neighborhood of Barrio Lindo.
Seeing the smiles of the children, the elderly, and people with disabilities is the engine that drives us to keep going. Thank you for welcoming us with so much affection!
Services provided
We provided the following services:
- General Medicine
- Free delivery of medicines and vitamin supplementation
- Physical Therapy
- Manicure and Pedicure
- Optometry
- Mole removal
- Recreational games for the children
Thanks to God's blessing and the commitment of our volunteers, we continue transforming lives with their gifts and resources. During this day of solidarity, we were able to benefit our community with the delivery of:
- Children: Storybooks, colored pencils, and dental hygiene kits.
- Families: Clothing in good condition for those who need it most.
- Older adults and people with disabilities: Lenses and glasses to improve their quality of life, as well as completely free medicine.
