Medical brigade in Nobol
On Thursday, June 19, 2025, part of the team of Fundación Líderes con Responsabilidad Social del Ecuador traveled to the canton of Nobol to hold a medical brigade. We carried out this day in coordination with the GAD (Decentralized Autonomous Government) of Nobol who gave us every facility to carry out this charitable brigade. We greatly appreciate the collaboration of each doctor and the professional volunteer leaders of the foundation LIRES who, with their gifts, talents, resources and vehicles, collaborate in the foundation's different activities.
The medical brigades of LIRES aim to provide care to priority care groups, with an emphasis on children, adolescents, older adults and people with disabilities.
Free care and medicine were provided, and on this day a special service for women was also offered, in which tests of VIA (Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid) were performed, a simple test to detect early precancerous cervical lesions.
Services provided
This day included the following services:
- general medicine
- manicure and pedicure
- dentistry
- mole removal
- optometry
- physical therapy and respiratory therapy
- vitamin supplementation
thanks to the collaboration of our friend Dra. Mayra Cordero who carried out the VIA tests and attended cases of urinary tract infections and patients seeking contraception. Thank you again to the professionals and volunteers of Fundación LIRES who take on their leadership with social responsibility by the grace and mercy of God.
