Medical brigade in Salitre
We arrived in Salitre with hope and health! On Saturday, March 28, 2026, in the center-west of our beloved Guayas, the brigades of Fundación LIRES were activated to support those who need it most.
Day in Salitre
After the heavy floods that affected the Montuvian capital of Ecuador, we joined the team of our friend José Guin in the recinto Santa Rosa de Salitre to hold a day full of solidarity.
Thanks also to the Salvador Divino Christian church, María Sol Tumbaco, Jorge Sarmiento, Jing Guin Osorio, Sgt. Eugenio Gómez and the Fuerza Comunidad Salitreña movement for their hospitality, we turned a difficult moment into well-being for children, older adults and people with disabilities.
Services provided
We provided with love:
- General Medicine
- Free distribution of medicines and vitamins
- Physical Therapy
- Optometry
- Mole removal
- Manicure and Pedicure
- Fun for the little ones! Recreational activities, toys and magic springs
All of this is possible by the grace of God and the hearts of our volunteers, who put their gifts and resources at the service of others. We keep working for the community!
