Free medical brigade in Daule

Medical brigade in the canton of Daule – Los Lojas Parish - Recinto 2 revesas, Guayas Province, Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Gratitude and coordination

This medical brigade was made possible thanks to the coordination of our friends Steven Barzola and Leonor Zúñiga who very kindly provided us with a suitable space to work and also gave us excellent care, which is why we extend our deepest gratitude for their openness and commitment to the community.

Thanks to the efforts of our medical team and volunteer leaders from Fundación LIRES, free medical care was provided to children, teenagers, older adults and people with disabilities in this area.

Services provided

During this day, services such as the following were offered:

• General medicine
• Free distribution of medications
• Vitamin supplementation
• Optometry
• Mole removal
• Manicure and pedicure
• Recreational activities for children
• Physical therapy

All of this was done by the grace and mercy of God, with the commitment of our health professionals and volunteers, who, with their gifts, talents, vehicles and resources, make every mission possible.

The team of Fundación LIRES that attended this brigade was led by its president Fabián Correa Figueroa, Viviana Morocho, Carlos Coello, Leonela Chipantiza, Anderson Vélez, José Luis Veliz, Narcisa García, Dana Morocho, Rina Castagneto, June Castagneto, Mariuxi Morocho, Nery Vera, Ivon Intriago, Andrea Alcívar, Alexandra Brito, thanks also to the doctors and volunteers who, for various reasons, could not join us on this day, but are keeping up with the rest of the team.
