Fundación LIRES participates in proposed regulation for the Labor Stability Law
For several weeks, the Observatorio de Enfermedades Catastróficas has been working together with other organizations on the proposed regulation for the "Labor Stability Law for People with Catastrophic Illnesses."
The Observatorio de Enfermedades Catastróficas, as part of the process of citizen participation and social oversight, held working sessions to draft the proposed regulation for the Labor Stability Law for People with Catastrophic Illnesses. This past week we met to review the changes proposed to the Regulation:
ORGANIC LAW AMENDING VARIOUS LEGAL BODIES TO GUARANTEE THE LABOR RIGHTS OF PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, RARE, ORPHAN, CATASTROPHIC AND HIGHLY COMPLEX DISEASES, AND THEIR SUBSTITUTES.
Volunteers from the Fundación Lideres con Responsabilidad Social del Ecuador took part in developing this regulatory instrument, which seeks to guarantee the labor, social and health rights of people with disabilities and of families facing these illnesses.
