Free medical brigade in Salitre
Brigade in Guachapelí
On Saturday, April 26, 2025, part of the team of Fundación Líderes con Responsabilidad Social del Ecuador traveled to the canton of Salitre to carry out a medical brigade in the recinto of Guachapelí. We held this event thanks to our friend Sgt. (SP) Eugenio Gómez Velázquez and the coordination of our friend, the Political Chief of the canton of SalitreMrs. Cinthia Dume, thanks to the war veterans club of the canton of Salitre headed by Mr. Saúl Palma, thanks to the Cattle Ranchers Association of Guachapelí for providing us with the venue and for making this charitable event possible, thanks to the team of our friend Assemblywoman Lorenita Rosado Sánchez, to our friend MSc. Nery Vera with whom we have been working together for a long time to reach, with real impact, different cantons of the province of Guayas that are currently being affected by the heavy rainy season, thanks as always to the doctors and volunteers of the foundation LIRES, we greatly appreciate the collaboration of each doctor and the team of professional volunteer leaders who contribute their gifts, talents, resources and vehicles to the different activities. Even though the rainy season affects the roads and paths, which are largely flooded, the volunteers of Fundación Líderes con Responsabilidad Social try to meet the needs of the population as best they can. The medical brigades of LIRES aim to provide assistance to priority attention groups, with emphasis on children, adolescents, older adults and people with disabilities.

all of this by the grace and mercy of God.
Allies and donors
We are always grateful to our donors such as DYVENPRO, part of the prestigious group DIFARE. Thank you, Dr. Judit Yambay for the dermatological creams and soaps which were enough for this event as well. There are many volunteers and donors who do not like to be named, but we honor their collaboration just the same for the medicines, the oatmeal that is distributed every week to the children, thank you for the digital thermometers that were donated to the mothers so they can have them at home, the vitamins and other things that strengthen the care at each brigade every week. Only by joining efforts, authorities, social organizations, private companies, the community and others, will we move forward in rebuilding the Social Fabric.
For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith, virtue, and to virtue, knowledge;
— 2 Peter 1:5
