Medical brigade in Bucay: free health care

We arrived in the canton of General Antonio Elizalde (Bucay). This beautiful corner of the country, together with Cumandá and its surrounding mountains, is known as the meeting point of five provinces: Guayas, Chimborazo, Los Ríos, Bolívar and Cañar.

This Saturday July 11, 2026, the team of Fundación LIRES traveled to downtown Bucay. Thanks to the invitation of our friend Mauricio Minuche and his work team, we joined hearts to care for the bravest: our children, older adults and people with disabilities.

What we achieved together:

• General medicine and free distribution of medicines/vitamins 💊
• Physical therapy 💆‍♂️
• Dentistry 🦷
• Optometry, glucose testing and vital signs 👓🩺
• Manicure, pedicure 💅
• Beauty services, hairdressing 💇‍♀️
• Mole removal 🩺
• Recreational games for the children 🎈
