Medical brigade in Milagro: free health care
¡Milagro was filled with health and hope! We brought hope to ciudadela Almeida! This Saturday, July 4, 2026, the team of Fundación LIRES joined efforts to transform realities.
Thanks to the bridge built by Mrs. Gina Betancourt, the work of Jhon Perrazo and the support of Ricardo "chino" Arias together with his team, we were able to care for and protect those who need it most: our children, older adults and people with disabilities.
What we achieved together:
- General medicine and free distribution of medicines/vitamins 💊
- Physical therapy 💆♂️
- Respiratory therapy 🫁
- Vitamin injections 💉
- Optometry 👓
- Beauty, hairdressing 💇♀️
- Manicure and pedicure 💅
- Mole removal 🩺
- Educational talk on dental health 🦷
- Talk on emotional health 🧠
- Fun games for the children 🎈
None of this would be possible without the hearts of our allies. Our eternal gratitude to:
- Kronos Laboratorios, for their invaluable contribution of medicines.
- Óptica Alcívar, for the donation of eyeglasses.
- Thank you for the Lions' commitment! To the Club de Leones Atarazana, led by Kleber Barros, for their ongoing support. We serve! 🦁
- Caring hearts: Dra. Anabel Seijas, Dra. Tania Zurita, Mayrita Huaraca, Dra. Judit Yambay and Rosita Baren, thank you so much for your valuable contribution of medicines. ❤️

"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up. Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken!"
— Ecclesiastes 4:9-12
