Fundación LIRES provides medical assistance in Simón Bolívar

Day of service in Lorenzo de Garaicoa

On Saturday, April 5, 2025, part of the team of Fundación Líderes con Responsabilidad Social del Ecuador traveled to the Lorenzo de Garaicoa parish, which belongs to the canton of Simón Bolívar. We carried out this event thanks to the coordination of our sister in Christ Elisabet Vergara and her family, including Michell Navarrete and Katherine Navarrete , who gave us every facility to work as a team.

We thank each doctor and the team of professional volunteer leaders of the foundation LIRES , who with their gifts, talents, resources and vehicles collaborate in the different activities, and who, despite the heavy rainy season storms, travel every week along flooded roads and neighborhood paths and try to meet, at least in part, the needs of the population.

In this event we were joined by our Assemblywoman Lorenita Rosado , who together with her work team is ready to listen to and address the needs of the population in every canton and parish that is visited.

Medical brigades

The medical brigades of LIRES aim to provide assistance to priority care groups, with an emphasis on children, adolescents, older adults and people with disabilities.

Free assistance and medicine were provided, and there were also recreational activities with the children, manicure and pedicure services, mole removal, dentistry, vitamin supplementation, physical therapy and optometry, all by the grace and mercy of God.
