Free medical brigade in Juján
On Tuesday, April 1, 2025, part of the team of Fundación Líderes con Responsabilidad Social del Ecuador traveled once again to the canton of Juján to hold a medical brigade in the recinto La Otilia. thanks to her work team Mercedes Herrera (councilwoman), Sonnia Arreaga who gave us every facility to work as a team. Thanks also for the collaboration of our Assemblywoman Lorenita Rosado and her whole team, who gave food kits and surprise gifts for the children to vulnerable families,
we greatly appreciate the collaboration of every doctor and volunteer of the foundation LIRES, thanks to DYVENPRO, which is part of the prestigious Grupo Difare and is one of our partners so that we can continue our work in the field with the medical brigades,
thanks again to the team of volunteer leaders and professionals of the foundation LIRES who, with their gifts, talents, resources and vehicles, collaborate in the different activities, and who, despite the heavy rainy season, travel every week along flooded roads and local paths and try to meet some of the needs of the population,
where the great majority show happiness at seeing the willingness to do shared work, as was the case here, with GAD Jujan, the foundation LIRES, and the team of our Assemblywoman Lorenita Rosado,
Purpose of the brigades
The medical brigades of LIRES aim to provide assistance to priority attention groups, with an emphasis on children, adolescents, older adults and people with disabilities.
Services provided
Free assistance and medicine were provided, and we also held
- recreational activities with the children
- manicure and pedicure service
- vitamin supplementation
- dentistry
- general medicine
- optometry
all of this by the grace and mercy of God.
