Brigade in Juján

On Tuesday, April 8, 2025, part of the team of Fundación Líderes con Responsabilidad Social del Ecuador traveled to the canton of Juján to carry out a medical brigade in the recinto El Tránsito. We held this event thanks to the coordination of the GAD (Decentralized Autonomous Government) of the Canton Alfredo Baquerizo MorenoJuján headed by the Mayor, Ángela Herrera Méndez, thanks to her work team Mercedes Herrera (councilwoman), Sonnia Arreaga who gave us every facility to work as a team,

thanks also to the doctors and volunteers of the foundation LIRES, we greatly appreciate the collaboration of each doctor and the team of professional volunteer leaders who, with their gifts, talents, resources and vehicles, collaborate in the different activities. Despite the heavy rainy-season storms, they travel every week along flooded roads and neighborhood paths and try to meet, in some measure, the needs of the population,

where the great majority show happiness at seeing the willingness to carry out shared work, as was the case here, and they joined efforts: GAD Jujan, foundation LIRES and community,

Services provided

The medical brigades of LIRES aim to provide assistance to priority attention groups with an emphasis on children, adolescents, older adults and people with disabilities.

Free assistance and medicine were provided. Recreational activities were also held with the children, along with manicure and pedicure services, dentistry and physical therapy, all by the grace and mercy of God.
