On Thursday, March 21, 2025, part of the team of Fundación Líderes con Responsabilidad Social del Ecuador traveled to the canton of Juján to carry out a medical brigade in the recinto Lomas de Ñauza,
We carried out this event thanks to the coordination of the GAD (Decentralized Autonomous Government) of the Canton Alfredo Baquerizo Moreno ¨ Juján¨ led by Mrs. Mayor Ángela Herrera Méndez, thanks to her work team Mercedes Herrera (councilwoman), Sonnia Arreaga who gave us every facility to work as a team,
we also thank you for the collaboration of Lcda. Angie Avilez, Dr. Pamela Morán of the health center of Libertad de Ñauza, we greatly appreciate the collaboration of each doctor and the team of professional volunteer leaders of the foundation LIRES who contribute to the different activities with their gifts, talents, resources and vehicles,
who, despite the heavy winter rains, travel every week along flooded roads and neighborhood paths and try to meet some of the needs of the population, where the great majority show happiness at seeing the willingness to carry out shared work, as was the case here, and joined efforts GAD Jujan, Libertad de Ñauza Health Center, Fundación LIRES and community.
Services provided
The medical brigades of LIRES aim to provide assistance to priority care groups with an emphasis on children, adolescents, older adults and people with disabilities.
We provided assistance and free medicine, and we also held recreational activities with the children, manicure and pedicure service, and dentistry, all by the grace and mercy of God.
